Mayweather - Pacquiao: working out the kinks...
UK Mirror Reports
Floyd Mayweather Junior's superfight with Manny Pacquiao is close to being sealed.
A source close to the negotiations claims that world pound-for-pound king Mayweather is edging nearer to agreeing terms.
The date of March 13 has already been pencilled into the fight diary and the Las Vegas casinos, New Orleans and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones are falling over themselves to stage the showdown which will be the richest fight in history.
Both sides have agreed to a gagging order to reduce the chance of the negotiations being derailed by mud-slinging and talks are said to be progressing well.
Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank set the ball rolling when he met Mayweather's promoter, Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy, last week.
Arum says he is now flying to see Pacquiao in his Philippines homeland to discuss the terms of a possible deal.
Pacquiao is coming off his latest win over Miguel Cotto and his showdown with Mayweather is expected to be at welterweight again.
This will be an advantage for Mayweather, who has beaten Oscar De La Hoya at light-middleweight, and two fights ago, Pacquiao was campaigning at lightweight.
Pacquiao's camp are relaxed about the 147lbs-limit for the fight because the Filipino has looked comfortable as he has moved up through the divisions.
The fight to stage the contest is already raging and Jones wants to put it on at his new home for theCowboys in Arlington, Texas.
The Louisiana Superdome is a long shot and Arum would prefer to see the fight take place in Vegas, where he is based.
He is even looking into the possibility of staging the superfight in 30,000-seater temporary arena on The Strip.

Getting to know Adair
When she wasn’t putting on shows for the local kids in the neighborhood and her 6 brothers and sisters, Adair often went hunting with her dad Ed.
When Adair was 14, everything changed when her father died trying to get his family to safety during a house fire.
Adair, her mom and siblings were forced into poverty, living off of government assistance and constantly moving around.
By the time she was in her late teens, Adair was out on her own in New York City , trying to earn money to send to her family, but at the same time trying to catch a break as a recording artist.
Adair managed to make some headway networking with industry movers and shakers while at working the door at nightlife hotspots.
Privately she fell deeper into depression, not ever having the opportunity to mourn the death of her father and frustrated that her career lacked focus and direction.
At her lowest moment, Adair woke up in a hospital bed after overdosing on pills and alcohol. It was at that point that Adair put her faith in God and asked for Him to help her get her life back together.
She soon started to write incessantly about everything that had gone on in her life – from her father to her alcohol addiction – and slowly but surely, her words turned into songs.
About a year later, a mutual friend introduced Adair to Frequency, an up and coming music producer from Long Island.
Frequency, who had seen some early success in his career producing songs for rappers like Snoop Dogg, Cam’ron and Raekwon, had just become a member of the multi-platinum production team the Trackmasters.
After testing out different producers, Adair eventually decided that she and Frequency had a chemistry that could not be matched.
After recording six songs together in early 2009, they knew they were onto something, and Adair signed to Frequency’s label, Freq Show Music, as his first artist.
The music that Frequency and Adair have created defies categorization by genre. Many have described the pair as the new Missy and Timbaland, combining elements of Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, Funk, Rock and even Gospel.
Adair’s songs all touch on real life experiences – from “PTSD” which is about Adair’s battles with anxiety and panic attacks, to “Show Off” which is about a persistent suitor at a nightclub, to “If It Had to Happen” which is about the death of her dad.
Everyone that hears her music knows that something special is about to take the music industry by storm.
Adair is her music. She is one with it. She sings about what she’s been through and what she’s still going through.
“I want people to come into my world, and if they can dance while they’re doing it, then I think I’ve accomplished my goal!”
Tracklist from Rebirth...Wayne/Eminem collabo?
Is an Eminem and Lil Wayne collabo coming? That's the word.
According to a leaked tracklist -- rumored to be for Weezy's upcoming, long-waitedRebirth album -- Eminem will appear on the album.
Reports say that on Amazon's UK website, a tracklisting shows Eminem as a guest on the album's eighth track, called "Drop The World," which would be his first collaboration with the superstar rapper from New Orleans.
Looks like all Wayne's public statements regarding his desire to work with the great white hype finally came true. That's if this tracklist is official.
At one point in time, Weezy accused Em of being "scared to work with me," after he sent a track to Em's camp and never got a response.
While the pair did appear together on the Drake single, "Forever" alongsideKanye West, Weezy said he didnt consider it a real collaboration, "cause I wanted a record that was just me and Em."
Aside from Eminem, Rebirth is expected to feature Wayne's stable of Young Money artists such as Shanell, Nicki Minaj and Kevin Rudolf.
At press time, the latest release date for the project is December 21st.
The rumored tracklist is as follows:
• American Star - ft. Shanell
• Prom Queen - ft. Shanell
• Ground Zero
• Da Da Da
• Paradise
• Get a Life
• On Fire
• Drop the World - ft. Eminem
• Runnin - ft. Shanell
• One Way Trip
• Knockout - ft. Kevin Rudolf
• The Price Is Wrong - ft. Nicki Minaj
You love Wayne and Boosie that much? Really?
Nola.com Reports
Six people were arrested by the New Orleans Police Department Monday after allegedly spray-painting graffiti on a building in the French Quarter during an apparent protest over the incarceration of several local rap artists, according to police.
Off-duty police officers saw the suspects spray-painting "Free Lil Wayne" on the side of a building in the 900 block of Conti Street around 9 p.m. and notified the NOPD, according to spokesman Janssen Valencia.
New Orleans born rap star Dwayne "Lil Wayne" Carter, pleaded guilty in October to attempted weapons possession and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence. He is currently out on bond.
The men also placed a banner across Royal and Canal streets calling on authorities to release Torrence "Lil Boosie" Hatch, a Baton Rouge rapper who pleaded guilty in September to a marijuana possession charge and is currently in prison. The group also placed police barricades and metal garbage cans in the 100 block of Burgundy to halt traffic.
When officers arrived, the suspects fled but were apprehended nearby, Valencia said. The six subjects were charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest by flight and criminal damage to property.
Three of the suspects were listed as homeless, two were from Monroe and the third from Pennsylvania.
